Restarting the XDC Sale Presale: What Happened and What’s Next
At 0xFútbol, fairness and transparency are at the core of what we do. That’s why we are making the decision to restart our $FUTBOL XDC Sale presale with improved conditions for all participants.
This is an opportunity for early supporters to acquire $FUTBOL at a significantly better discount, something that was not possible before due to market conditions. There will be no other presale at this discount level, as this is a limited event to celebrate XDC Network’s strategic investment in 0xFútbol.
Here’s what happened, why we’re making this change, and how you can claim your refund and participate in the new presale.
What Happened?
Over the last 30 days, the price of XDC Network’s token (XDC) grew by 80%.
When we launched the $FUTBOL XDC Sale Presale, the exchange rate was set at:
1 XDC = 5 $FUTBOL
At that time, this represented an almost 40% discount compared to our expected TGE price.
However, as XDC’s price increased, the discount gradually disappeared.
At today’s prices, buying $FUTBOL in the current presale is actually more expensive than it will be at TGE.
While it’s encouraging that people are still purchasing at a higher price than our TGE valuation, it’s simply not fair for our community to continue under these conditions.
What’s Next? A New Presale with Better Terms
Since the current presale didn’t reach the soft cap, it will fail automatically, and all funds will be refunded to participants.
But we’re not stopping there. We are launching a new presale with improved conditions:
- New Presale Date: 16 Jan 2025, 20:00 UTC
- Soft Cap: 150,000 XDC
- Hard Cap: 300,000 XDC
- New Exchange Rate: 1 XDC = 8 $FUTBOL (higher allocation for buyers)
This means early supporters will now be able to get more tokens for the same amount of XDC, making it a true discount before the TGE.
This presale is small and will remain small, as it is meant to celebrate XDC Network’s strategic investment in 0xFútbol and allow a select group of supporters to enter at a better price. There will be no other presale at this discount level.
How to Get Your Refund and Join the New Presale
If you participated in the previous sale, you will automatically be refunded.
All you need to do is:

2️⃣ Request a refund for the previous presale
3️⃣ Join the new presale and buy $FUTBOL at the improved rate of 1 XDC = 8 $FUTBOL
This is a one-time opportunity for early supporters to acquire tokens at the best possible discount before launch.
About the Mega Raffle
As previously announced, for every 1,000 XDC spent in the presale, participants will receive one ticket for our Mega Raffle.
We have slightly adjusted the prize pool since the hard cap has been reduced, meaning fewer participants and a more exclusive opportunity to win. However, we are still offering significant rewards to thank our early supporters.
If we reach the soft cap:
- 🥇 1st Prize: $1,500 in $FUTBOL
- 🥈 2nd Prize: $500 in $FUTBOL
If we reach the hard cap:
- 🥇 1st Prize: $2,000 in $FUTBOL
- 🥈 2nd Prize: $1,000 in $FUTBOL
Even with these adjustments, the raffle still provides great incentives for early supporters to accumulate more $FUTBOL before the token launch.
